Melissa Barrera has accepted the love and support she is receiving for her next film Abigail and moved on from her exit from Scream.
After her contentious departure from the horror franchise, the thirty-three-year-old actress was shocked by the outpouring of support for her next film.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress discussed the importance of the film in her own life.
“It was quite unexpected, but it’s been amazing,” she remarked. I was surprised, for some reason, to feel like I had an army behind me and to have so much support. And that was really lovely.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to attend conventions where I can interact with the fans in person and hear from them about their support and willingness to stick with me.Melissa also acknowledged that, in the wake of the scandal, this is the first picture that has given her hope for the future of the film industry.
