Zendaya simply responded to an unplanned legacy that all of the leading ladies in the Spider-Man films have been doing.
Zendaya appeared with co-stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist from the Challengers movie on the most recent episode of Good Morning America.
The actress from Euphoria was shown a meme by the show’s co-host, Robin Roberts, which noted that all of the female stars in the live-action Spider-Man movies have gone on to play tennis players.
Zendaya reacted to the meme by saying, “I have seen this. I’m not sure! We were making jokes, and I thought, “Perhaps I’m just fulfilling some prophecy.”
