ISLAMABAD: In preparation for the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif landed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday night.
The prime minister and his delegation were met at the Riyadh Royal airport by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Bin Abdul Aziz, the deputy governor of the Riyadh region, Pakistan’s ambassador to the kingdom, and the embassy personnel.
The premier and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman will talk about Riyadh’s potential investment opportunities in the nation during the dignitary’s two-day visit to Islamabad on April 28 and 29.
The prime minister is scheduled to meet with Kristalina Georgieva, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), together with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
