Former X employee Esther Crawford has secured a senior position at Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
Crawford, who spent more than two years as X’s head of product management, has reportedly joined Meta as Messenger’s director of product, according to Hindustan Times.
As part of Elon Musk’s layoffs at X, she lost her two-year employment in February 2023.
Crawford stated on social media, “I’ve joined the Messenger team at Meta as a Director of Product,” about her recent employment.
“I’m thrilled to get to work with an incredible team focused on 0-1 initiatives within the app!”
