Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior scored twice, including a penalty kick in the 83rd minute to square the game.
Bayern Munich exerted early pressure on the contest. But Toni Kroos’s defence-splitting pass was turned into a goal by Vinicius Junior, who tucked the ball past Manuel Neuer to give Real Madrid the lead.
With his goal, the Brazilian reached the Champions League semifinals for the third straight season.
Unfazed, Bayern stormed back in the second half. Leroy Sane equalized the score with a powerful strike that found the net. Harry Kane scored a penalty kick a few minutes later to give Bayern the lead.
