An Afghan activist who was “erased” by the Taliban describes the “struggles” that Iranian women face.

Recently, a young Afghani campaigner for women's rights left her own country and traveled to Iran.

The activist told News that although women’s rights are limited in both nations, there were significant differences between them when she first came.
That is, until Iranian women came forward to tell of their suffering under the government of the Islamic Republic.

To ensure the activist’s safety, we are keeping her identity a secret. This is the tale of her:

Myself and other Afghan women have been systemically eliminated from public life after nearly three years of living in Afghanistan under the Taliban administration.

Like many women in the nation, I battled severe depression and mental health issues during this period.

My brother encouraged me to leave because there was no chance that things would get better.
