Before Tia Gordon, a resident of Northampton, was emergency hospitalized because her stomach bug and migraine symptoms began to interfere with her balance and gait, she was informed that she was ill.

After an emergency scan, the 3.5-cm tumor on her brain was discovered.

Before the tumor was discovered, Tia’s mother, Imogen Darby, stated that her daughter had visited GPs, A&E, NHS 111, and had her glasses prescription adjusted four times.

“I took Tia to doctors for more than three years, but she refused MRIs and other tests,” the woman stated.

She said: I took Tia to doctors for more than three years, but every time I took her, she refused to have an MRI or to see an emergency pediatrician. I called 111, went to A&E, had her glasses changed four times, received medication, and saw a consultant. Eventually, she became too weak to walk and could not receive the care she needed.
