This year’s Christmas at the Royal Family would be a little melancholy, according to a former butler.
Paul Burrell, who previously worked for the Royal Family, told Closer Magazine that the absence of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would hurt King Charles.
He stated: “I believe the King is happy that William, Kate, and their kids—George, 10, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 4—are visiting Sandringham to have a little fun. We are planning a more intimate, low-key Christmas. But like all families, there’s always a tinge of sadness at Christmas time.”
“Thinking about the ones we have lost, or the ones who can not be with us,” he continued. And the royal family is not an exception; I have no doubt that they will miss Archie, Lilibet, Harry, and Meghan this Christmas. It is depressing.
Conversely, it is believed by friends of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that they would have truly enjoyed attending the Royal Family Christmas.
They told Sunday Times: “I can’t imagine the Sussexes would decline an invitation to spend time with His Majesty. No invitations for the holidays have been sent out as of yet.”
