After his “unhinged” outburst at Tom Brady’s roast the previous evening, Ben Affleck did not show up for the Met Gala on Monday.
His wife, Jennifer Lopez, showed off her toned body on the red carpet by herself at the Anna Wintour-hosted function. Lopez co-chaired the annual event, which is held on the first Monday in May.
Lopez, for her part, shone in a sheer, gem-studded Schiaparelli gown. The “Let’s Get Loud” singer has only co-chaired once in her 14 gala attendances.
Due to his filming schedule, Affleck was unable to attend the glamorous charity dinner honoring the start of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2024 Costume Institute show. Affleck is currently filming “The Accountant 2” in Los Angeles.
