Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Brighton are the six teams that are double-ups, and the defensive positions are the most difficult to fill with any degree of trust.
Josko Gvardiol, Pedro Porro, and Dan Burn would be my first choice for defenders if I were on the wildcard or free hit, but if Eddie Howe declares that Kieran Trippier is able to play and fits inside your budget, he might be a really interesting differential option.
Although he loves to get forward and is probably going to be taking some set-pieces, Porro is in there for the potential attacking returns in Tottenham’s matches against Burnley and Manchester City. I wouldn’t necessarily anticipate a clean sheet from him.
