Representative for a district that President Biden carried by almost six points, a House Republican claims that in elections similar to his in November, “security” will be the decisive element.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Rep. Mike Garcia, R-Calif., stated that it is illogical for a voter to not desire security.
Representing a portion of the Los Angeles metro region, Garcia is the only Republican member of the House of Representatives. In addition, he is one of 17 House Republicans representing districts that Biden carried in 2020, making him a top target for Democrats seeking to recapture the House.
He maintained that voters’ decisions in November will be influenced by security in all its manifestations, including economic, domestic, and foreign.
