According to a recent op-ed advocating for tighter border security, a vulnerable congressional Democrat in Pennsylvania—a crucial battleground state—seems to have changed her mind on immigration after earlier calling for a border wall as “silly.”
In an opinion piece that appeared in The Morning Call last month, Representative Susan Wild stated, “We may be far from the U.S.-Mexico border, but the problems created by a broken system affect us too, particularly with regard to the entry of illegal drugs into our country.”
