The ladies were underage when some of the alleged offenses occurred, according to a story in the Guardian newspaper.
The claims span the years 2014 to the late 1980s.
The accusations, according to a representative for Copperfield, are “false and scurrilous” and “the exact opposite of who David is,” News was informed.
Three of the women say the magician drugged them before they had intercourse, according to the Guardian. They said they were unable to provide their permission.
Four times, ladies said that while the magician was performing live on stage, he had touched them inappropriately or in a sexual way.
One woman claimed to have met Copperfield in 1991 at the age of fifteen.
