Shiv Johri Patel, a saree weaver from Mr Modi’s seat in the northern city of Varanasi, says he has many concerns, but he knows who will get his vote.
“Mr Modi has done excellent work. “We’ve never seen poor people receive so many welfare benefits under any other government,” he argues.
Mr. Patel claims that his sons are unable to find work, and that local intermediaries have taken advantage of him.
