A viral video from Thursday shows how shocked Kylian Mbappe, the captain of the French football team, was to find his wax statue at Madame Tussauds.
During the unveiling event, when he raised the curtain, the 25-year-old striker was seen in the film being astonished to see his intricate statue joined by his father Wilfrid and a few other people.
The striker was astonished when the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward hit the red button and the figure was shown.
“It seems more like me than Kylian,” chuckled Kylian Mbappe.
According to Mbappe’s video message that was made public last week, he is expected to leave the French League 1.
The forward went on to say that he can “create connections with people” through the wax figure even when he isn’t there.
He examined his wax figure intently, feeling elated by the honor. Additionally, Mbappe posed for photos with the statue.
According to L’Equipe, the figure was created following four hours of shooting and facial and bodily analysis. It features his hallmark celebration of folded arms.
