The bombing of a house in Nuseirat, a refugee camp in central Gaza, killed at least 20 people, according to the territory’s Hamas-run health ministry.
According to documents at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, eight women and four children died, including Sabreen, a two-year-old girl.
A subsequent attack on a street in Nuseirat killed five more people, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent rescue agency.
It occurred while intense fighting continued in the northern Gaza region, which the World Food Program reports is famished and has been effectively cut off by Israeli troops for months.
