Due to an anticipated heatwave that is predicted to affect Sindh, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Monday postponed the ninth and matric exams from May 21–27.
The National Disaster Management Authority and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority’s heatwave notice prompted the board to make its decision, according to a notification they released.
“It is additionally notified that the aforementioned assessment will proceed as planned starting on May 28, 2024. The board announced that the amended schedule of postponed papers would be released at a later time.
The decision was made in accordance with Muhammad Ali Malkani’s directives, the Sindh Minister for Boards and Universities.
