In keeping with its mission to educate every kid in the nation, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training reopened a girls’ school in North Waziristan on Monday after it was damaged by militants a week earlier.
“We are overjoyed to announce that, with God’s blessing, we have successfully completed our goal,” the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training stated in a statement.
The Afia Girls School is back in operation following renovations.
The ministry said, “Today, our little angels returned with smiles on their faces, brimming with hope and enthusiasm.”
It further stated that radicals had threatened to destroy this same institution only a week prior.
