Early in this past women’s collegiate basketball season, the mothers of two then-LSU stars engaged in a social media spat, with one’s grades being questioned.
The beef occurred during Angel Reese’s absence from the squad; it was assumed that Reese had been suspended, but nothing was ever officially revealed.
Angel Webb Reese, Reese’s mother, chastised her daughter’s teammate at the time, Flau’jae Johnson, for poor language. Kia Brooks, Johnson’s mother, responded to Angel Reese’s mother on Instagram.
“You definitely know about grammar errors when your daughter got a 2.0 or less GPA, and in fact, when writing your smart message, you didn’t capitalize nor did you use any periods,” she said. “Stop being nasty, phony, and spiteful. Take responsibility for your and your daughter’s behavior.
Angel Reese appears to clap back at an ex-LSU teammate’s mother after graduating. That’s what I thought.
