RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army expressed alarm on Wednesday about militants using Afghan territory, citing an increase in terrorist infiltration attempts at the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as coordinated terror attacks from the neighboring nation.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “terrorists from Afghanistan attempt to infiltrate through Pak-Afghan border and target security forces as well as the innocent civilians.”
The statement also provided information about the army’s counterterrorism operations, including those that have been underway since April 21 in the Zhob district of Balochistan, particularly in the Sambaza area.
