ISLAMABAD: Senior PTI leader Hammad Azhar reappeared in public on Wednesday, nearly a year after going into hiding due to a crackdown on party members in the wake of the May 9 incidents.
While visiting the PTI’s Central Secretariat office in Islamabad, Azhar stated, “It’s time to come out of hiding. I received a message from the PTI founder [Imran Khan] yesterday.”
The PTI leader announced that he would travel to Peshawar in order to obtain pre-arrest bail because he has been charged in multiple cases related to the May 9 riots that occurred across the nation last year following the arrest of the PTI founder in a corruption case.
