All elite athletes will receive support from the organization in the form of grants, career counseling, and health and wellness initiatives.

Before launching its primary support programs in the fall, the organization will launch four pilot programs in Ireland, South Africa, the Pacific Islands, and New Zealand the following month.
Omar Hassanein, chief executive of International Rugby Players, stated that “former players have highlighted the need for further supports as they finish their playing careers over the past few years.”
