According to News, Sindh’s Minister of Information, Sharjeel Memon, declared on Thursday that government workers would be eligible to get residential plots in installments.
Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon revealed that the government of Sindh intends to set up residential societies for government workers, enabling them to reserve plots at a discounted price, in a manner akin to the current journalists’ society.
Plots in the housing society can also be reserved by Sindh police and traffic police departments. The housing society program is specifically intended for both lower-class and upper-class government personnel.
There will be no closure or privatization of the Pakistan Steel Mill, according to a top PPP leader.
He disclosed that the Steel Mill’s property will become an export processing zone, as planned by the Sindh government.
He claimed that the export processing zone’s earnings will resurrect the steel plant.
After new electric bus lines were approved, Sharjeel Memon emphasized that Karachi needed 8,000 buses to meet its transportation needs.
