According to reports cited by the News, eight businesses have expressed interest in purchasing Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
Sources claim that in order to proceed with the privatization of PIA, the Privatization Commission will convene for a critical meeting tomorrow.
According to sources, the conference will mark a major advancement in the privatization process because eight foreign and local businesses have already shown interest in purchasing PIA.
Fly Jinnah, Airblue Limited, Arif Habib Corporation Limited, and Jerry’s International Private Limited are a few of these businesses.
Four of the eight companies that expressed interest will be requested to submit their bid and business plan after being shortlisted.
With SHANXI CIG Company Limited China, Sardar Ashraf D. Baloch Company will also take part in the bidding procedure.
In addition, three consortiums have indicated interest in purchasing PIA: the YB Holding Private Limited Consortium, the Blue World City Consortium, and the Pak Ethanol Consortium.
