Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has highlighted the challenging financial position by stating that the federal government’s funding for projects in Sindh is “uncertain.”
“It is uncertain which projects should receive funding from the federal government,” he stated on Wednesday at the PPP’s Sindh chapter parliamentary party.
The remarks by Bilawal, whose party supports the administration of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) at the federal level, coincided with a rant against the federal government by Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding arrears.
The head of the PPP vowed to use every resource at his disposal to secure the release of funding from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led coalition government at the center.
