The Punjab Home Department has set up a control room in advance of Eid-ul-Azha to guarantee peace and order and the proper execution of governmental orders throughout the state.
This control room will be in operation around-the-clock, gathering information from all areas in order to effectively oversee operations over the Eid vacation.
The control room will be in operation during the holiday season, overseen by senior officers, making sure that all operations adhere to the rules that have been issued by the government. Additionally, the department has declared strict guidelines to regulate a variety of activities over Eid.
One important step is to forbid any outlawed organizations from gathering animal hides used as sacrifices.
A government representative confirmed that only groups registered with the Charity Commission will be allowed to retrieve these skins.
By taking this action, we hope to guarantee that the money raised from the sacrificial skins is spent sensibly and legally.
The Home Department has also outlawed the public burning of sacrificed animals’ heads and trotters on Eid. During the Eid holidays, it will be severely forbidden to bathe or boat in rivers, streams, or dams in order to further safeguard public safety.
