Saurabh Netravalkar traveled to the US in 2015 to work as a software engineer after giving up his dreams of becoming a professional cricket player in India.

He will play the Indian cricket team in a Twenty20 World Cup match on Wednesday, over ten years later, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
But he’ll do it as a member of the American squad.
Netravalkar, a cricketer who previously represented India’s Under-19 squad, says the match will be an “emotional moment” as he sets out on his World Cup ambition.
