ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar proposed considering the deployment of an unbiased international force for the protection of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, in addition to calling for an embargo on all military supplies and sales to Israel.
Deputy Prime Minister called for the immediate evacuation of Israeli occupation forces from Gaza in line with resolution 2735 at the High-Level Conference on Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza in Amman, Jordan.
He stated that they need to take decisive action now in order to properly address the matter.
The foreign minister and deputy prime minister stressed the necessity for quick action, saying that they had to guarantee the truce.
He continued, saying that it must also put an end to the violence in the West Bank and provide help to the oppressed Palestinians in Gaza, meeting their basic requirements for energy, food, medication, and other necessities.
