KARACHI: According to News on Thursday, law enforcement authorities had identified the two thieves who were killed in a shootout with police in the city’s Defence region as their top targets.
Police in Karachi stated that Sher Ali, also known as Piyaro, and Zulfiqar, also known as Zulfi, who were slain in a shootout with the police this morning, were associated with a band of bandits in the interior of Sindh known as the Katcha area.
These crooks had formed an organization in Karachi and were operating out of the port city.
Police claimed, “They had recently killed an industrialist named Asif Balwani in the Defence area.” Police officials stated that crucial evidence linking the two accused killed today to the murder of Balwani and their other accomplices was discovered.
The deceased accused were seen committing crimes in tapes that the police had discovered. Police claimed that “they can be identified in these videos.”
They were traveling to Karachi to commit crimes in the interior regions of Sindh. According to the authorities, “the gang has consisted of 10 to 15 members.”
