Singer Charli XCX has issued a warning to her audience not to yell “Taylor is dead” when she performs.
The British celebrity sent a message on social media in response to rumors that during a performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil, fans were yelling about Taylor Swift.
She went on, “It bothers me that anyone would think there is room for this in this community because it is the exact opposite of what I want.”
“I will not tolerate it.”
The incident occurred after a fan posted on Instagram and tagged the celebrity, saying, “Your Brazilian fans have been showing toxic behaviour by screaming ‘Taylor is dead!’ in your concerts and events related to you.”
Earlier in June, Charli released her sixth album, Brat, but it didn’t reach the top.
Since its publication in April, The Tortured Poets Department has been at the top of the charts for seven weeks in a row.
In addition to being Swift’s supporter throughout her 2018 Reputation tour, the British singer is engaged to George Daniel, the drummer for The 1975.
The US celebrity and band leader Matt Healy were first connected in 2023, prior to her present partnership with Travis Kelce.
