ISLAMABAD The News on Sunday revealed that the Leader of the Opposition Omar Ayub’s altercation with other workers was caused by Sher Afzal Marwat, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), according to a recent report.
On Thursday, when a district and sessions court rejected PTI founder Imran Khan and his spouse’s appeals for a suspension of their sentencing in an iddat case, a brawl broke out outside the Islamabad judicial complex.
The sources claim that the report, which would be given to the PTI founder on July 2, blames Marwat for the altercation with Omar.
According to the allegation, Omar was forced to leave the location quickly and in complete disbelief since Marwat had wanted to head the party’s protest demonstration in support of Khan.
Because of his direct comments and disagreements with the party workers, Marwat has been the center of attention for the past few months. He received a show-cause notice and was expelled from both the PTI political committee and core committee for his outspoken remarks.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lawmaker complied with the show-cause letter, and there hasn’t been any sign that the political committee or core committee will take any more action against him.
