LONDON: As part of his campaign trail, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stopped by Stoke on Trent’s Bestway Healthcare Service Centre on Monday.
The chief executive of the group, British-Pakistani entrepreneur Lord Zameer Choudrey, and his son Haider, greeted the PM at the business center.
“We were delighted to welcome the Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Rishi Sunak, to our Bestway Healthcare Service Center depot in Stoke on Trent on Monday as the 2024 General Election campaign draws to a close,” stated Lord Zameer.
“Excited to witness firsthand the fruits of the substantial investment made by the Bestway Group in our multi-channel website, which serves over 5000 independent pharmacies and 760 Well Pharmacies daily in addition to housing our online digital pharmacy,the prime minister was pleased by the levels of automation and innovation that make the HSC such a successful operating model, including our online OTC shop, our centralised script fulfilment centre, and our ability to stock about 10 million packs of medication.”
