A follow-up to Devil Wears Prada is “in development.”

It is said that a follow-up to the popular 2006 movie The Devil Wears Prada, which starred Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, is being developed.

Variety claimed that Aline Brosh McKenna, one of the original screenwriters, was working on the follow-up, which supposedly follows Streep’s character, magazine editor Miranda Priestly, as she deals with the death of print magazines in the digital age.
The number of original cast members who might make a comeback for the Disney-produced sequel remains unknown, despite reports from US news source Deadline to the contrary.

In the movie, which took place in the New York office of a fictional high-end fashion magazine, Emily Blunt played Priestly’s other secretary.
