The hearing of the 190 million pound reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has been postponed to July 13 by the Accountability Court in Adiala Jail.

Pervez Khattak, the former minister of defense, recorded his remarks during the hearings, which saw a number of events.

Khtattak said the court that Shahzad Akbar, the former accountability czar, had informed the cabinet that a sizable quantity of money purportedly transported unlawfully out of Pakistan had been found in Britain. In addition, Akbar informed the gathering that steps were being made to return the money that had been taken to Pakistan.

According to Khattak, the cabinet was provided with financial transaction-related documents in a sealed envelope along with requests for permission for other agenda items.

Imran Khan was spotted grinning during the hearing while Khattak was making his statement on the rostrum. Even as his erstwhile ally was filming his statement, Khan joked. “It’s time to return even Nawaz Sharif’s apartments back to Pakistan,” he stated.

After 15 minutes of recording his statement, Khattak departed the courtroom.

Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich of the Accountability Court presided over the meeting in Adiala Jail. Thirteen of the witnesses have had their cross-examination finished, while 31 witnesses have had their testimonies recorded in this case. Remarkably, neither former minister Zubaidah Jalal nor principal secretary Azam Khan could seem to record their remarks.
