After losing the Test series 2-0 to Australia, Warren Gatland’s team plays a friendly match against the Super Rugby team in Brisbane to wrap up their three-match journey.
Regan Grace, a former rugby league winger, will get his opportunity. He did not play in the two games against the Wallabies.
,Center The following players were also absent from the Test series: hooker Efan Daniel, props Corey Domachoswki and Dillon Lewis, scrum-half Gareth Davies, Eddie James, full-back Jacob Beetham, locks Ben Carter and Matthew Screech.
The only other players that have been used as replacements are Kieran Hardy, Sam Costelow, Nick Tompkins, Harri O’Connor, Evan Lloyd, Kemsley Mathias, Cory Hill, and Mackenzie Martin.
Gatland stated, “We want players who have come out here on tour to be involved.”
That was the plan from the beginning. Unless they have injuries, perhaps everyone will be involved in some capacity, whether they are starting or in the 23.
Beetham from Cardiff has been sidelined by a foot issue while on tour, and Lewis and Carter were unable to play for their countries due to injuries.
