A female student from Mohmand tribal district named Ms. Nigareen filed a petition contesting the admissions regulation, but it was denied by the judge. The bench noted that, unless there was a violation of the law or statutory norms and regulations, it was now established through numerous rulings that the high court had no jurisdiction to intervene in the policymaking processes of colleges, institutions, or even the executive branch.The petitioner had asked the court to rule that the contested admission procedure, which involved the selection and allotment of both reserved and open seats, was unlawful and unjust.
