In reaction to the demonstrators’ attack on the Pakistani embassy in Germany and the taking down of the national flag, the federal cabinet announced the “Huramat-e-Parcham campaign” on Thursday.
On social media, the federal ministers shared photos of themselves with the Pakistani flag.
On social media, the federal ministers also posted sentiments of love and admiration for the flag.
The national flag was featured in images shared on social media by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Leghari, Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer, Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, and other ministers.
“Chand Roshan Chamakta Sitara Rahey, Sab Se Oncha Yeh Jhanda Hamara,” wrote Tarar in a social media post.
Pakistan Zindabad and the national flag were featured in images provided by Ministers of Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik, Finance and Revenue Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan.
Tarar made a call to join the “Hurmat Percham Campaign” for political activists, journalists, intellectuals, teachers, lawyers, doctors, farmers, laborers, students, businesspeople, Pakistanis living overseas, and young Pakistanis.
