Inter-Services Public Relations claimed on Thursday that security forces had carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Hoshab district of Balochistan, where they had engaged the militants in gun combat.
There was a fierce gunfight between the terrorists and the soldiers during the IBO. As a result, according to the military’s media wing, terrorist Ali Jan was murdered and two other terrorists were injured.
The statement went on, “Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorist, who remained actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area, including kidnapping and target killing of innocent civilians.”
To get rid of any further terrorists discovered in the vicinity, the security personnel started a sanitization operation.”Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace and stability of Balochistan,” according to the ISPR.
Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, commended the security forces for their successful operation against the terrorists in Hoshab.
