Because of the heavy rains, the Met Department has issued warnings about possible floods in several parts of Pakistan. Azad Kashmir, northeastern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Koh-e-Sulaiman, and the nearby Balochistani highlands are among the regions that are at risk.
Additionally, the department issued a warning of potential flooding in lower Sindh, south Punjab, Peshawar, and Karachi.
Islamabad and the surrounding areas are predicted to see thunder and high winds, and other places including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Peshawar, Mohmand, Kohat, and Dera Ismail Khan are also expected to experience rainfall.
Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, DG Khan, Bhakkar, Multan, and other places are also expected to receive rain.
