Waqar Younis, a former fast bowler, has taken up the role of Cricket Advisor to the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made this choice, using his constitutional authority to assign the 52-year-old to this critical position.

Throughout his bowling career, Younis has amassed an impressive 22 five-wicket haul in an innings and five 10-wicket hauls in Test matches. His best bowling numbers however, were 7 for 76.
