Hassan Shah, one of the dramatist Khalilur Rehman Qamar’s accomplices, and Qamar herself are suspected of blackmailing Qamar by one of the suspects in the “honey trap case.”
Amna Urooj stated this when she appeared in the Lahore anti-terrorism court, where her physical remand was prolonged by two days. She said to the judge that Shah was complicit in the crime and that she was being set up.
“No money was taken by me. My video has also been shared by Hassan Shah. I’ve been blackmailed by Hassan Shah and Khalilur Rehman,” the woman claimed. In response, Qamar’s attorney stated that his client was a devout man.
“What kind of pious man would normally be praying Tahajjud (pre-dawn prayer) at 4am?” said the ATC judge.
