In comparison to the same period previous year, the country’s export of pharmaceutical items increased by 3.90 percent in the fiscal year 2023–24.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), Pakistan exported pharmaceutical items valued US$ 341.023 million in July–June (2023–24) as opposed to US$ 328.210 million in July–June (2022–23), indicating a growth of 3.90 percent.
According to the data, there was a 44.38 percent increase in the quantity of pharmaceutical goods exported, from 59,213 metric tons to 85,492 metric tons.
Comparing June 2024 to the same month the previous year, pharmaceutical goods exports rose by 32.92 percent on a year-over-year basis.According to PBS data, pharmaceutical exports in June 2024 totaled US $29.128 million, compared to US$ 21.914 million in June 2023.
