For months, the pair has been the subject of divorce rumors as they continue to live on opposite sides of the country. Lopez has spent her summer at the Hamptons, while Affleck has been out and about in LA.
However, suspicions regarding the status of their marriage took a dramatic turn when Affleck failed to attend Lopez’s extravagant “Bridgerton”-themed 55th birthday celebration on July 24.
“Ben did not come to celebrate Jennifer’s birthday because they are done,” a source told News . “All done. They’re not getting back together.”
Instead, the “Argo” actor-director has closed escrow on his new $20.5 million Los Angeles mansion, according to People magazine. On the same day, the Grammy-winning Lopez allegedly completed the sale of her New York City condo.
“They are not communicating right now,” the source explained. “If she wants to talk to his children, she goes directly to them. Likewise with him.”
