The 77th Independence Day was celebrated on Wednesday with great national fervor and devotion at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
During the stirring ceremony, Pakistan’s Charge d’Affaires to India, Saad Ahmad Warraich, raised the country’s flag on the Chancery Lawn.
Warraich lavished praise on Allama Muhammad Iqbal for his inspirational vision and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for his energetic leadership in directing the Muslims of the subcontinent toward their predetermined destiny of having their own independent country.
In addition, he noted Pakistan’s remarkable advancements in every area and voiced his belief that the country’s youthful, vibrant, and ambitious population will chart the course for further prosperity and advancement.
