In Model Town, Lahore, at a consultative meeting, the ousted premier emphasized the pressing necessity of relieving the masses of the burden of exorbitant electricity bills.
Leading party figures, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, attended the meeting chaired by Nawaz Sharif. Finding quick fixes to help the public was the main goal of the agenda, especially in light of rising electricity costs.
Nawaz Sharif connected the former government’s actions to the current economic woes in his speech, emphasizing the harsh effects of high bills on the people.
