The British celebrity joined Swift on stage for her now-famous acoustic segment, in which she performs a new song each show.
As Sheeran entered the stage for a duet and began singing a portion of his smash ballad Thinking Out Loud, the audience cheered loudly.
After years of acquaintance, she referred to the star as “like a brother”. As he walked off stage, she exclaimed, “That was so fun, I had such a good time. Did you have a good time?”
They sounded like they were having a great time by the sound of the crowd.
Swift will perform five times at Wembley, with the last event capping up the European leg of her incredible Eras Tour on Tuesday.It was also her first public performance in the UK since three young girls died after a stabbing at a Swift-themed dance lesson in Southport, Merseyside. The cancelation of three gigs in Vienna earlier this month was reportedly caused by a planned terror attack.
Swift issued a statement expressing her sadness at the girls’ deaths, but she did not address any of the incidents that occurred on stage in London.
It is believed that the singer has contacted the families in private.
