PESHAWAR: According to police, an explosion along Warsak Road in the Pir Bala neighborhood on Friday injured at least five individuals, including two police officers, they informed Geo News.
A police truck was the intended target of the explosion, according to the authorities.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Arshad Khan stated that the “remote-controlled” explosion caused damage to the police car on Warsak Road.
The policeman stated, “Explosives were planted in a cement block,” and added that the five kilograms of explosives used in the remotely controlled explosion were used.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the five victims of the explosion have been moved to the hospital, as reported by Geo News.
Five injuries were brought to Lady Reading Hospital, according to Muhammad Asim, the hospital’s spokeswoman.
