At the end of the third day of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the visitors were behind the hosts by 132 runs with five wickets remaining on Friday.
In an attempt to close the gap on day four, Bangladesh amassed 316-5 in 92 overs thanks to an outstanding batting performance by the visiting squad.
With Shadman Islam and Zakir Hasan at the crease, the visitors started their innings with 27 for no loss at the beginning of the third day.
Hasan attempted to play a shot at cover in the fifth over of day three, which was the 17th overall. However, he got an outside edge on Naseem Shah’s delivery, and Mohammad Rizwan made an outstanding catch to end his innings.
