The WWE claims that Eudy, also known to fans as Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, and Sycho Sid, became well-known in the 1990s as one of the “most imposing and terrifying competitors of his generation” in the business.
He will be “greatly missed,” according to his son Gunnar Eudy, who described him as “a man of strength, kindness, and love.”
Gunnar thanked Facebook users for their support, stating that the family “appreciates your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss” and that further information on the memorial service would be released soon.
The six-foot-nine American was born in the US state of Arkansas on December 16, 1960.
The WWE said in a statement, “Sid’s legacy in WWE is cemented by his reputation as one of the toughest and most thrilling superstars, and his influence can still be seen in wrestling rings around the world.” WWE offers its sympathies to Eudy’s friends, family, and supporters.
According to the organization, Eudy made his WWE debut as Sid Justice in 1991, officiating SummerSlam matches featuring WWE icon Hulk Hogan as a special guest.
