Following comedian Jo Koy’s jokes about Taylor Swift’s attendance at football games featuring Travis Kelce, a sports pundit recently stood up for her.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith offered his thoughts on the recent Golden Globe Awards scandal, in which the 52-year-old emcee made fun of the singer for attending his NFL games with her tight end lover.

Stephen supported the Lover hitmaker on his program First Take, saying, “I have to take a moment to come to Taylor Swift’s defense.” She did her job, excuse me, but everyone is sitting up there behaving like she’s some kind of obstacle! That Tour of Eras? Not on the chain.
“She’s going to support her dude,” the ESPN personality continued. It’s hardly her fault if she shows up at a football game and the cameras are focused on her!
Stephen also brought out the fact that Taylor began going to Travis’ games when her Eras Tour dates were almost over.
